It’s no secret that getting a home loan is NOT what it used to be. No doubt in many ways, that is actually a very good thing, to ensure that homeowners are qualified and in a position to sustain their mortgage payments. But did the pendulum swing the opposite direction after the recession…to the point where trying to get a home loan felt more like a punishment than a hard-earned accomplishment? How far have we come – and what can you expect from home financing today AND tomorrow? To help us answer that question, Real Estate Radio LIVE is pleased to welcome RE/MAX, LLC Chairman & Co-Founder, Dave Liniger. As not only a highly experienced real estate company founder, leader and consumer advocate – Dave has also played a major role in influencing governmental housing policies which helped drive economic recovery. Hear what he has to say about the changes made this year to help make home ownership more attainable, as we reference his article ‘New Mortgage Standards Are Opening Doors Again’.
