Wells Fargo and the Alameda County Divestment

Wells Fargo and the Alameda County Divestment

Wells Fargo is back in the news today as Alameda City Council unanimously votes to divest more than $36 million of its accounts with the bank due to their funding of the Dakota Pipeline. Does any of Wells Fargo’s practices bother you as a consumer? Do you want to continue to do business with a bank that has demonstrated questionable activities?

Doing things simply because “that’s the way they are done” has always bothered Joe because the world is always changing and people need to make adjustments. This is no different for the real estate industry.  Loans, title and escrow may not have not evolved at the same rate as other products, but Joe believes big changes are on the way.
