How Will The New Tax Reform Affect Mortgages & Is It A Good Time To Get Out Of That Rental And Buy?

One of the biggest issues in the new tax proposal regarding real estate affects your ability to deduct interest from your mortgage. Currently interest can be deducted on mortgages up to $1,000,000; the proposed amendment would drop that amount to $500,000. This is a big hit to Californian’s where average home prices are extremely high. Today Joe discusses the new tax proposal, what he believes could be done to help middle class Americans, and who will be affected the most.

If you’re here renting and you have to be here, it’s time to get creative. One of Joe’s new objectives is to see how many renters he can get out of their rental and on their way to home ownership. Listen in as Joe rants about renters who spend too much time getting bogged down by the news instead of creating a plan with an open mind. Your first home is rarely your forever home, but it can be your first steps towards the home you want.
